A little about myself ... I'm from the UK and born in Yorkshire and as you will find out my family have always been miners and I am very proud of my heritage. Family is important to me and I am one of those people who was married at one time. With the most wonderful man now, but I also have grown up children and a smattering of grandkids.
A few years ago, my daughter challenged me to write down the stories that I told the kids every night. That started the writing of a 200-page book that was never published because of nerves. Since then I have those niggling 'What if?' moments which prompted me to try posting originally in Nifty, but then I lost my job and lost all desire for a while.
I guess storytelling comes from my Granddad as I loved bedtimes when he was alive. This massive miner would lie on the bed with us kids and moment later we would be drawn into these magical worlds that he created for us as he told the stories. I guess it stuck.
I am looking for an editor, and or proofreader to help make my stories better.
